The music of Cuba, including its instruments, performance, and dance, comprises a large set of unique traditions influenced mostly by west African and European (especially Spanish) music. Cuban music is among the richest and most influential regional music in the world. All of the tracks here were recorded during the Golden Age of Cuban Music, in the 1950’s and early 1960’s. Cuban music has contributed to the development of a wide variety of genres and styles around the globe.
